International Missions:

I Care San Antonio’s Global Missions will reach out to help others in impoverished countries receive eye exams, glasses, medical and surgical eye care – helping them “see” a brighter future.

I Care San Antonio began with a simple yet powerful mission: to serve others through compassionate eye care. Inspired by Dr. Robert Rice’s early international mission trips, the organization grew from his commitment to helping those without access to vision care. Today, that same spirit guides everything we do (right here in San Antonio and beyond).

As part of our ongoing global outreach, I Care San Antonio partners with Medical Ministry International (MMI) to deliver critical eye care in Arequipa, Peru. Our volunteers join MMI teams annually to serve patients in underserved communities, continuing our commitment to restoring sight and transforming lives across borders.
