What to Expect at Envision
Envision is an opportunity to experience the mission of I Care San Antonio in a whole new way. You’ll learn who we are, meet some of the people we serve, and hear powerful stories from patients whose lives have been changed through the gift of sight—and from the doctors who generously give their time and expertise to make that care possible.
Throughout the morning, you’ll experience meaningful mission moments designed to give you a glimpse into what it means to struggle with vision loss—and what becomes possible when someone can see clearly again.
You’ll laugh. You may tear up. You’ll be inspired. And you’ll leave with a better understanding of how something as simple as an eye exam, a pair of glasses, or a sight-restoring surgery can change the trajectory of someone’s life.

Program and Impact
I Care San Antonio improves lives by delivering complete eye care—medical, surgical and optical—to people in need.
Founded in 1992, our faith-based nonprofit provides compassionate, high-quality vision care to low-income and homeless individuals across San Antonio and surrounding counties. More than 50 volunteer doctors support its work, helping patients who often must choose basic necessities over essential eye care.
At our 15,000-square-foot Vision Center, we serve those at or below 150% of the federal poverty level. We combine medical excellence with compassion, while building strong community partnerships.
