Let’s gather at Zero Dark Thirty to envision, celebrate, and highlight I Care San Antonio’s work providing eye care across our community—from supporting veterans and their families to serving children, seniors, and individuals experiencing poverty or homelessness throughout the Greater San Antonio area.

Program and Impact

I Care San Antonio improves lives by delivering complete eye care—medical, surgical and optical—to people in need.

Founded in 1992, our faith-based nonprofit provides compassionate, high-quality vision care to low-income and homeless individuals across San Antonio and surrounding counties. More than 50 volunteer doctors support its work, helping patients who often must choose basic necessities over essential eye care.

At our 15,000-square-foot Vision Center, we serve those at or below 150% of the federal poverty level. We combine medical excellence with compassion, while building strong community partnerships.
