We are currently seeking a friendly, organized, and patient-focused Patient Coordinator / Check-Out Coordinator to join our clinic team.
Job Summary
The Patient Coordinator / Check-Out is responsible for greeting patients, ensuring smooth patient flow at the end of each visit, collecting payments, scheduling follow-ups, and supporting front desk operations. This role requires professionalism, multitasking, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
Greet patients and provide excellent customer service
Check patients out after appointments and schedule follow-up visits
Collect payments, issue receipts, and assist with financial paperwork
Answer phones, route calls, and assist with general inquiries
Confirm appointments and assist in managing daily schedules
Maintain accuracy in patient records and ensure proper documentation
Provide patients with instructions and information for next steps
Assist with administrative tasks to support clinic operations
Maintain a clean and organized front-desk area
Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure smooth workflow
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Customer service or receptionist experience required
Medical office experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Basic computer proficiency (EHR experience a plus)
Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
Professional, patient, and positive attitude
Schedule
Monday–Friday (hours vary based on clinic schedule)
Occasional Saturdays depending on clinic needs
